  • 1.1 You Provide: Name, email, phone, password, profile photo, payment info, content you post, products you list, event details.
  • 1.2 Auto-Collected: Device info, IP address, location, app usage, cookies, QR scan data, purchase history.
  • 1.3 From Others: If someone invites you, we get your phone/email. If you buy from a merchant, we get transaction details.

 2.⁠ ⁠How We Use Info

  • 2.1 Operate the Platform: Run your account, process payments, deliver QR codes, show your content.
  • 2.2 Personalization: Recommend channels, events, products.
  • 2.3 Communications: Send receipts, updates, security alerts. Marketing only with consent.
  • 2.4 Safety & Legal: Prevent fraud, enforce Terms, comply with law.
  • 2.5 Analytics: Improve features and measure performance.

 3.⁠ ⁠How We Share Info

  • 3.1 With Other Users: Your public profile, content, and event attendance per your settings. Private event guest lists visible to hosts.
  • 3.2 Merchants/Creators: If you buy/subscribe, we share necessary info to fulfill: name, email, shipping address.
  • 3.3 Payment Processors: Paystack, etc. to process transactions.
  • 3.4 Service Providers: Hosting, analytics, SMS, email vendors under confidentiality.
  • 3.5 Legal: If required by law, court order, or to protect users.
  • 3.6 Business Transfers: If Twichihunt is acquired, data may transfer.
  • We do NOT sell your personal data.

 4.⁠ ⁠Your Choices

  • 4.1 Access/Edit: Update profile info in settings.
  • 4.2 Delete: Request account deletion. We keep some data for legal/tax/fraud reasons.
  • 4.3 Marketing Opt-Out: Unsubscribe links in emails or in-app settings.
  • 4.4 Location: Disable in device settings, but some features won’t work.
  • 4.5 Cookies: Control via browser/device settings.

 5.⁠ ⁠Data Security

  • We use encryption, secure servers, and access controls. No system is 100% secure. You’re responsible for keeping your password safe.

 6.⁠ ⁠Data Retention

  • We keep data while your account is active + as needed for legal, tax, disputes. Deleted content may persist in backups for 6 months.

 7.⁠ ⁠Children

  • Twichihunt is not for kids under 18. If we learn we collected data from a child under 18, we delete it.
